ExxonMobil PNG has invested over US$385 million (PGK930 million) on community development support programs. These have made a crucial difference in environmental awareness, community capacity, infrastructure improvement and to education and health services in local communities.
Advancing commercial agriculture
In Papua New Guinea, over six million people, approximately 87% of the population, live in rural communities and the majority depend on subsistence agriculture as a means of survival.
